- 1. Never allow your dog to ride in your vehicle with the window down and its head hanging out. First of all this can cause ear or eye infections. Not to mention the fact that flying insects and stones that fly up can injure your pet.
- 2. Do not allow your animal to ride in the back of an open pickup. This is very dangerous and many dogs have gotten hurt or hung their selves on their leash jumping from the truck.
- 3. Never leave training collars on your dog. Remove immediately after you are done with the session. This has caused many injuries.
- 4. Never allow your animal to drink stagnant water (pond water, mud puddles, etc...) as this may lead to the animal suffering from Giardia.
